SwigsterSwigster, like many other websites, was born in a college dorm room. Two former high school classmates were attending two universities in two very different parts of the country. Soon after arriving at school, they encountered the same problem on the same night: both had limited cash, and both wanted to go barhopping. Having just moved to their respective cities, they had no idea which bars had the cheapest drink specials, the best music, or most frequent free food promotions. There were no accurate listings on the internet, and word of mouth information was generally outdated or difficult to come by.
